Public Rooms and Dining Room
Foyer and Library With separate on site host living quarters, five public rooms are available for guests providing great conversation areas for couples or small groups of friends. A private guest entrance (to the right of stairs) leads guests into the spacious foyer with beautiful ceiling dential and crown moldings and crystal chandelier. To the right, the library, decorated in a nautical theme with cherry bookcases holds over 600 books (several on the American presidents and English royalty). With leather seating and comfortable upholster chairs, this is an excellent spot for guest who wish to converse with other guests or visitors or together enjoy an event on cable tv. An antique winthrop secretary provides ample space for writing a note or pursing one of the old Huron County Atlases or space for game tables.

Dining Room With your overnight stay at Georgian Manor Inn, guests are served a complete breakfast on fine china in the beautiful mahogany paneled, beamed ceiling dining room at one time 9 a.m. For those who may need to depart earlier, a fruit/ melon plate, toast, coffee or tea and orange juice can be arranged. |
Living Room Enjoy a cup of tea or refreshment while you converse with your friends or other guests or simply relax on the overstuffed sofas and fireside chairs in front of an oak mantled fireplace and bookcases. Several Alan Maley art works are displayed in the public rooms including an artist proof hanging above the mantle. Christmas decorations shown here. |
Sun Porch A perfect bright location to read a magazine; or view the gardens, pond, and patios; or watch several types of birds and squirrels visiting the small stream and waterfalls. Black squirrels are among the four types of squirrels frequenting the grounds. Often guests utilize the sun room for a cup of coffee before breakfast. |
